This precious bonnet was made using the Sarah Howard Stone's Le Petit Enfant Bonnet pattern with a few modifications. The pattern piece for the puff was narrowed both in width and length. I created this sweet bonnet entirely from French Valenciennes lace and Spanish lace. Since the puff was made of lace, I felt it needed the structure the cluny lace offered. Both the headband and crown were made using the same lace as the puff.
The bonnet has detachable streamers and rosettes and can be changed out to coordinate with the dress being worn. I created set of streamers and matching rosettes in ecru, pink, and red satin ribbon.
